United shift attention to Italy for midfield solution

Manchester United are reported to be looking toward Italy for the search of a new midfielder as they seek to equip their squad in the January transfer window.

However, it is reported that manager Jose Mourinho has noted Roma star player Lorenzo Pellegrini as the suitable option that will fit his team and style.

There s no doubt that the Red Devils are beginning to return back to form having returned to winning ways especially with the victory against Italian giants Juventus in the Champions League.

Suggestions are that the Portuguese manager is happy with the development with his team and he is being encouraged to do more as he now thinks he stands the chance to still win the Premier League this season.

Reports according to Express Sport claim the former Chelsea boss will be handed the whopping sum of £100 million for the January transfer market to equip this squad.

Calciomercato also reports that the star midfielder is being monitors closely by the Old Trafford team and might not be able to resist the offer that would be tabled for him.

Although, it is believed that the decision to either leave the Italian side lies in his hands with insinuations that the offer that would be tabled might be difficult for the team to resist.
