Why United fans have the right to boo players, Juan Mata

Manchester United player Juan Mata has stated that the club fans do not deserve to go through the pain of seeing their side underperform the way it has been.

United just got their first win in five games on Saturday after seeing a late 3-2 win against Newcastle in which Anthony Martia, Alexis Sanchez and Mata were all in the score sheet.

Before the Newcastle game, it has been a mixture of controversy and defeats for United, leaving the fans with no option than to seek for the sack of the manager.

In the game defeat against West Ham, the fans were seen to be booing the players and manager Jose Mourinho. Some of them were chanting “attack attack attack”

However, Mata who was reacting to the win and the ease on the path of the fans stated that the fans have shown enough love and support to the team, hence they do not deserve the happenings at the club.

He expressed delight for the fans who according to him are now happy seeing their side secure their first win in five games.

Mata, therefore, stated that his side must do more to avoid another defeat in subsequent games so as to make the fans happy.
