United contact Bundesliga outfit for star forward

The English Premier League outfit Man United are reported to have contacted German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich for the signature of their star forward Robert Lewandowski ahead of the summer transfer window.

It is reported that the Red Devils have been able to make the fast move after learning that Robert Lewandowski has put on holds talks of his contract renewal which hints that he could be thinking of leaving the club anytime soon.

The Polish striker has just two years left to the end of his contract with Bayern Munich and this has been identified as the best time to reach out to him because the Bundesliga side will seek to cash in on him than lose him for free.

The quality of Robert Lewandowski is not in doubt which is the reason why the Red Devils are considering landing him, not minding his age.

However, Robert Lewandowski has been on the Red Devils’ wish list for a long time as their legendary manager Alex Ferguson severally indicated interest in the star player wheel he was in charge at the Old Trafford.

With Marcus Rashford reported to be preparing to leave the Old Trafford, Robert Lewandowski could be a perfect replacement.
