Unai Emery turns attention to another Liverpool star

Arsenal manager Unai Emery seems to have turned attention to Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno who will serve as a replacement for Nacho Monreal.

The Spanish manager is keen on more additions to his side and he is monitoring the situation at Liverpool knowing that Moreno’s contract is running into his last months at the Anfield and he is yet to be handed a new deal.

There are also indications that the left back has no intention to remain at the club, hence a move seems to be on the table.

Moreno has been overtaken at the position by Andy Robertson which makes him uncomfortable knowing that he is in the peak of his career and will not be favoured if he remains on the bench.

Arsenal will have to battle for his signature alongside other top European sides that are also monitoring the situation.

But the North London boss might have the advantage to have the player’s signature at the end of the season having worked with the Spanish defender at Sevilla with their relationship still intact.

However, the Gunners will have to prepare a lucrative deal for the Reds player to be able to beat off competitions from other European teams, especially in the Spanish La Liga.
