Uefa Nations League – Ederson to start ahead of Alisson Becker

Just like some other players in the Liverpool squad, Brazil International, Alisson Becker have left Anfield and his currently training with his home country, Brazil ahead of the Uefa Nations League.

Alisson Becker is Brazil number one goalkeeper and was their main goalkeeper at the Russian 2018 world cup, however, there is about to be a change this time around.

Brazil national team coach, Tite, has decided to rest Liverpool number one goalkeeper, Alisson Becker and start Man City goalkeeper, Ederson in his place during the match against Saudi Arabia on Friday.

However, Alisson Becker will be back in action for Brazil national squad in their second match against Argentina on Tuesday.

This is a fair division from the South American national team coach.

Man City, Ederson is, however, very excited at the rare opportunity given to him.

Ederson hinted that Brazil has a lot of good goalkeepers without the opportunity to make it to the national team.

He added that there is a lot of similarities between himself and Alisson Becker, who is having a positive start at Liverpool as to him at Man City.

The two Brazilians played against each other last weekend in the English Premier League for their respective football clubs.
