UCL: Mata warns United of the danger ahead

However, they are faced with the Champions League fixtures within the week as they take on Young Boys in their opening Group H game.

United have been drawn with Juventus, Valencia and their first opponent, Young Boys who are the current Swiss champions.

However, Manchester United playmaker, Juan Mata has warned his side of the danger ahead of them should they make the mistake of underrating their opponents.

The Swiss side are the underdogs in the team but Mata, who is familiar with the team said they could pose some surprises in the group, starting from the Wednesday night encounter.

Mata hints that the opponents will be tough for the Old Trafford boys who will be playing away from home.

With United perceived to be back in form after two consecutive wins, they have been pointed to as the favourites despite going away from home as the Saturday win has been tipped to be a motivating factor for the team.
