Too late for Wenger as Emery finds missing Arsenal rib

Arsenal had flourished under former manager, Arsene Wenger before things started getting bad.

It later dawn on the former Frenchman that club legends, including Patrick Vieira and Gilberto Silva could not be replaced after their exit from the club.

With the resurgence under new manager, Unai Emery and his recruit, Lucas Torriera, it seems like Arsenal have found their missing rib.

For over a decade, Arsenal have been looking for that midfielder who will provide a total cover for the defence and also help to build the attack but that has been lacking because the kind of players available have not had such a round quality.

The midfielder over the years have been more offensive and less defensive. But that was what Wenger wanted anyways.

The new partnership of Lucas Torriera and Granite Xhaka looks Like the answer to the decade-old problem with their intelligence, positional awareness, and versatility.

Former Arsenal player, Santi Cazorla had looked like the answer making the former manager stick to him and not wanting him to leave despite the career-threatening injury.

No wonder, it was very easy for the Spanish manager to let the Spanish player leave.

Torriera has been tipped to have his first starting role on Thursday when Arsenal line-up for the Europa club.
