Transfer Boost For Mourinho As Favourite Target Wants To ‘Concentrate On His Future’

Manchester United might have been given a major chance to finally sign Renato Sanches this summer.

The Bayern Munich midfielder has asked the club to be omitted from their squad that faced Werder Bremen on Saturday in order to ‘concentrate on his future’.

The 19-year-old has been linked with a summer exit from Allianz Arena after failing to make the cut under Carlo Ancelotti last season, despite his previous impressive displays with Benfica and the Portuguese national team at the Euro 2016.

United boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that he would have signed Sanches last summer, if he joined the Red Devils earlier last summer and hinted that he could move for him, having watched the player on several occasions.

However, Manchester United have been joined by a host of clubs in Europe for the signature of the midfielder, with reports that Premier League rivals, Chelsea have also inquired about the availability of Sanches on a summer deal.

Bayern Munich sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic has revealed that the Portuguese asked Ancelotti to omit him from his squad that faced Werder Bremen on Saturday in order to thrash out his future,

Ancelotti has earlier admitted that Renato Sanches is free to leave the club this summer, amid reports of keen interest from European outfits.
