Bayern Munich youngster Renato Sanches has emerged as a hot prospect this summer after emerging as a target for a handful of top clubs across Europe.
And according to German news outlet Kicker, the talented midfielder is also needed by Liverpool and they might bring him to Anfield before the transfer window closes next Thursday.
Sanches only moved to Bayern from Benfica last summer but struggled to find his feet in the German top flight last term. And it is understood that manager Carlo Ancelotti is pleased to allow him to leave.
The German publication claimed that Liverpool could be interested in a loan move for the 20-year-old since they seem to have missed out on RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita after his club refused to sell him.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to be interested in signing at least one more player before the transfer window closes, and the German boss has publicly made it known that he is trying to sign a new midfielder into his squad.
It, however, seems unlikely that the Merseyside club would want to bring in Renato on loan, but are likely to bring him to Anfield on a permanent basis if the rumour is anything to go by.
Considering his level, Jurgen Klopp won’t want to pay a huge fee for a player like Sanches, but on the other hand, Bayern won’t want to sell him for cheap.
