Three things West Ham can do to defeat Chelsea FC

Pellegrini led West Ham side will host Chelsea FC in the 6th week of the English Premier League.

So far the Hammers have been able to get 3 points having defeated Everton in their last match.

West Ham hopes to defeat the Blues to get another 3 points and bring down Chelsea from the top of the EPL table.

But with the way and style, the Blues are playing under their new coach, Sarri Maurizio, it will be a difficult win for West Ham.

West Ham have some advantage over Chelsea owing to the fact that the Blues participated in the Uefa Europa League and are yet to return from Greece (as at the writing of this report) which means they have less than 48 hours to train and get their act together for their trip to the London Stadium.

For the Hammers to defeat Chelsea, they must do this three things,

1. Stop Eden Hazard

This is the most dangerous player in the Chelsea squad at the moment and he is expected to play against West Ham.

If the Pellegrini squad can make things difficult for Hazard then they are one step ahead.

2. Make use of their last form.

West Ham defeated Chelsea when they met last season under Antonio Conte, although the blues are under a different man, West Ham can still give their last form a trial.

3. The home advantage

West Ham will play host to Chelsea and the Hammers are always under less pressure whenever they play from home.

They can use this against Chelsea.
