The Reds fans have taken to their social media handle to show their anger at Liverpool for not starting James Milner against Southampton

Jurgen Klopp led Liverpool side hosted Southampton at Anfield in the English Premier League, having host French club, Paris Saint Germain during the week in the Uefa Champions league.

Liverpool squad facing Southampton was the same except for some few changes.

For the first time since joining Liverpool from Stoke City in the summer transfer window, Switzerland International, Xherdan Shaqiri made his first start for the Reds.

Shaqiri had played for Liverpool in the past but all of his appearances have been from the bench.

Despite this first-hand change, some Liverpool fans are not happy with the fact that Jurgen Klopp dropped James Milner from the first eleven squad as they hope he will make a second appearance in the squad.

James Milner gave Liverpool the second goal via a penalty kick in the game against Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday night.

As side from Shaqiri replacing James Milner, Brazil star, Roberto Firmino was back in the team and has taken his place back from England international Daniel Sturridge (who scored the first goal for Liverpool against PSG.

In the defense line, Joe Gomez rested while Joel Matip was been handed his first start for Liverpool.

Should the Referee had given Tottenham a late penalty kick against Liverpool?
