Thomas Meunier Would Prefer A Move To Man United

Following his recent links with the premier league, Paris Saint-Germain star player Thomas Meunier has once again declared his love for English heavyweights Manchester United.

According to reports, the right back was a target for both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window after his impressive performances at the Paris club.

Chelsea however signed Davide Zappacosta from Torino, while Mauricio Pochettino’s side sealed a deal for Ivorian man Serge Aurier from PSG.

Thomas has not hidden his interest to move to England to ply his trade one day, and he made it known that Old Trafford would be his preferred destination due to his love for Man United.

In an interview with SFR Sport1 Direct, the Belgian star was asked which club he plays on FIFA, and his response was:

“Man United. Because I have always been a fan.”

Man United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on bringing in a new right-back who can provide cover and competition for veteran star Antonio Valencia at Old Trafford. However, the former Chelsea boss had more important issues during the summer window and he switches his attention on other things.

From all indications, Thomas would excitedly embrace the chance to play at Man United considering his admiration for the club which he never hides.

Since PSG brought in former Barcelona man Dani Alves during the summer window, Meunier will need to fight harder for regular game time with the Ligue I side.
