The biggest move United will make in January window

Manchester United have again been linked with a move for Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino with Liverpool legend Stephen Warnock stating that the Reds would have made the biggest statement to have signed the London-based manager.

Following the sack of former manager Jose Mourinho, the Red Devils have been in search of a new and high class manager that will help return the club back to winning ways.

However, former United player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been handed the role on a temporal basis till the end of the season which he started with a 5-1 victory to make a statement.

However, the former Liverpool player expressed disappointment that the Old Trafford side did not break the bank for the Argentina manager so as to lure him away from Tottenham.

According to the former player, Mauricio Pochettino could have stated that he was not interested in leaving Tottenham in the past but if approached with a good and luring offer he could have a change of mind just like players.

Meanwhile, it is very unsure if Mauricio Pochettino will seek a move away from Tottenham owing to his love, attachment and investment at the club.

The Argentina international has helped Tottenham qualify to the Champions League on two occasions ahead of Arsenal.
