Solskjaer’s job linked to Tottenham boss

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has hinted that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is still available for the permanent job at the Man United ahead of the coming season.

The Red Devils had parted ways with Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho last year December which made it compulsory for a replacement. Former player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was brought in to take charge of the team immediately.

The former United forward started on a good note with a number of wins as well as qualification to the quarterfinals of the Champions League, a development that placed him in line for the permanent job.

However, recent events which have seen the Red Devils lose games, especially their exit from the FA Cup in the hands of Wolves have suggested that there could be a change of plans and he can no longer be guaranteed the job.

Jamie Redknapp in his opinion said the Red Devils will be left with no choice to bring in a new permanent manager to the Old Trafford should the slump continues for the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side.

He noted that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino could be asked to take over at the Old Trafford as it is now obvious he will not be moving to Real Madrid as earlier speculated due to the coming of Zinedine Zidane.
