Sad news for Pogba as Glazers gives final word on future

Manchester United owners and the Glazer family see to have put to rest the issues surrounding the future of French midfielder Paul Pogba at the club.

Pogba has been speculated to be close to the exit door having fallen out with manager Jose Mourinho in addition to the bad results from the team.

The situation at United got messier when the Portuguese manager stripped the Frenchman off his captain band, telling him he will never lead the team again.

Pogba was reported to be irritated by the development and he has made his intention of leaving the club known to the executive vice-chairman of the club, Ed Woodward.

Mundo Deportivo reports that the Glazer family see the World Cup winner as their “Messi” and asset which will make it difficult for him to leave even if he insists.

It was added that Pogba will be the symbol of United’s future, a project the club owners cherish so dearly.

Meanwhile, United boss is reported to have held talks with the club management this week with suggestions that he would have been intimated of the club’s stand on the crisis surrounding the team.

The former Chelsea boss has been told he would be backed to make good signings when the January window opens.
