Not Turan, Barca Star Considering Arsenal Move Following Initial Talks

Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alacantra is reportedly considering a move to Arsenal this summer.

The Spaniard is believed to be frustrated at his lack of chances at the Camp Nou and wants to leave this summer.

Reports in ESPN Brazil have it that Rafinha has received an offer from Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger and he is considering the move.

Reliable Spanish outlet, Marca also have it that the 24-year-old has told his close associates that he wants Emirates move, with suggestions that the Gunners will be perfect for him to develop.

It is understood that Barca values the midfielder at £26.4m) and are willing to use him as a makeweight in the potential deal for Arsenal defender, Hector Bellerin.

Rafinha who is the brother of Bayern Munich midfielder, Thiago Alacantra, only featured in 16 games for the Catalan giants last season and he is even out with a knee injury which could see him miss out of the opening stages of next season.

However, the possibility of a transfer deal hangs on Arsenal’s decision on selling Bellerin or not with reports that the Gunners are not ready to sell the Spanish defender despite Barcelona’s intensified efforts this summer transfer window.
