Premier League Clubs Queue Up To Sign Chelsea Loanee

Several Premier League sides are interested in signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham in this January transfer window.

The 21-year-old has impressed a great deal since he left the Blues to join English Championship side Aston Villa on a season-long loan on the last day of the last transfer window in the summer of 2018.

His good form for the Midlands club has attracted the interests of a lot of the clubs in the top flight of English football.

Premier League sides like Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley and Huddersfield Town are keen to sign the Nigerian-born England international striker.

Tammy Abraham has scored 16 goals for Aston Villa to help the club in the push to gain promotion at the end of the current English Championship season.

Four of those goals came in a league game, a 5-5 draw with Nottingham Forest.

Aston Villa could lose him in the new transfer window which opened on Tuesday with Chelsea eager to recall him from the loan spell despite the fact that the attacker is only halfway through with it.

The Blues want to cash in on his Aston Villa form by selling him to a Premier League club.

That would be the best outcome for Chelsea since Tammy Abraham is unlikely to figure in the long-term plans of manager Maurizio Sarri.
