Finally, Manchester United Congratulated For Star Player Signing

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has congratulated Manchester United for their imminent signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

The sky blue club were keen on getting the player’s signature during the past summer transfer window, and they almost finalised a last minute deal with him – before Arsenal blocked the move due to their own inability to get a replacement for the Chilean star.

But Manchester United quickly took charge immediately the window reopened, and have offered a much better package to the player, his club and his agent.

Pep Guardiola’s side, on the other hand, are not willing to match the offers their neighbours were presenting, and they sensationally dropped their interest in Alexis last week.

The red devils have already agreed to personal terms with the 29-year-old, and he is expected to complete his move to Old Trafford over the weekend.

And Guardiola, who worked with the South American player back then at Barcelona, has congratulated him. The Spanish manager also said he has no hard feelings and wishes the player well in his endeavours.

Manchester United are still 12 points behind Manchester City ahead of the weekend fixtures. Last week at Anfield, Pep Guardiola lost for the first time in the premier league this season, while Manchester United trashed Burnley 3-0 elsewhere.
