Nigerian league coach Emmanuel Deutsche ‘begs’ for offers

Departing Abia Warriors coach Emmanuel Deutsche has unwittingly made his availability for any offer in Nigeria and abroad known through a close source.

Deutsche’s contract with the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL side ended last month but there are yet to be talks with the club’s management.

The Cameroonian has therefore hinted that he is available for offers from interested clients, a close source from Akwa United had revealed.

However, it was revealed that his leaving the Abia State based club was on a mutual agreement with the assertion that he has an excellent relationship with Abia Warriors chairman Emeka Inyama.

With the NPFL season already over, the Cameroonian manager will enjoy his holidays in Nigeria.

Abia Warriors had started the 2018 Aiteo Cup competition with a 5-1 defeat from Kwara United, went ahead to overcome former league champions Kano Pillars as well as Rivers United in the Lagos centre but that could not stop their elimination from the first stage under the manager.

Deutsche was last season recruited by Owerri –based side, Heartland but failed to keep the job over the managerial crisis which affected his appointment.

The Nigerian topflight league for the 2018 season has been ‘ended’ with Lobi Stars named winners.
