There are suggestions that the controversies at United involving manager Jose Mourinho is far from over with latest reports that first-choice goalkeeper, David De Gea has joined French midfielder, Paul Pogba’s camp to trouble the manager.
The season for United has been all about the bust-up between Mourinho and Pogba with both reported not to be on the same page.
The Portuguese manager has accused the French player of being disrespectful to the club and went ahead to strip him of his captain band.
The pair were seen in a video having heated arguments for reasons that has not been made public and Pogba has made it clear that he will leave the club if Mourinho remains.
Mourinho has insisted that he will not quit despite calls for him to do so with the hope that he will turn things around but there are more troubles he will face after De Gea is reported to be fed up with the manager.
The Sun claims that the former Atletico Madrid player has joined the camp of players who wants the Portuguese manager to leave the Old Trafford as they are tired of him.
Meanwhile, the club owners have stood behind the embattled manager and will not be quick to sack him.
