These five matches will determine if Chelsea season will be a success

Coach Maurizio Sarri took over the reign of Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

The last two months, August and September have seen the Blues improve and made some outstanding records for themselves.

However, October is filled with some interesting matches for the Blues and if they can achieve success in it as they have done previously then this season will be a success for them.

The international holiday break is on which means Chelsea FC will not play any match this week.

But Chelsea will host Man Utd at Stamford Bridge immediately after the break is over.

The next weekend, they will move to play Burnley and then they will host Crystal Palace.

These EPL games will be sandwiched with games in the Europa League and Carabao League.

The Blues will play BATE Borisov in the UEL and host Derby County in the EFL.

If Chelsea can succeed in all these games they will move to the knock out stage in the UEL, the quarter-final in the EFL and then possibly move higher on the EPL table should some clubs drop points.

With these in mind, Sarri would have met the minimum expectations for the season with a guarantee to top the EPL table next year.
