Mourinho Set To Drop Man United Star Players Against Tottenham Hotspur

According to reports, Jose Mourinho is set to drop a handful of Manchester United stars for their next premier league game against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday after their unfortunate defeat to Huddersfield Town last weekend.

Man United lost their first game of the season after a lacklustre display at Huddersfield and manager Jose Mourinho heaped lots of blames on his boys afterwards.

His side are now level with in-form rivals Spurs going into Saturday’s game at Old Trafford, and there are speculations that the Portuguese boss has warned certain members of his side that they won’t feature for the Tottenham game if they don’t improve their levels in training.

Man United beat Swansea City on Tuesday night in the League Cup, and the former Chelsea manager actually named a much-changed side, featuring just four players amongst those who played against Huddersfield.

And the Independent said he intends giving many of the players some rest so as to prove themselves in time for the game against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and won’t slack to drop any of the players that didn’t meet his expectations in training.
