Is Pogba’s Injury Serious? Mourinho Gives Latest Injury Update About The Frenchman

Manchester United star player Paul Pogba was taken off at extra-time during his side’s 2-0 win over Burnley on Sunday.

Man United manager Jose Mourinho has made an update on the French man after the victory, doubting if the world record player will be available against Man City on Thursday.

The France international, who was called a hero by the Portuguese manager for his impressive performances at Turf Moor, was substituted in injury-time, and it’s not yet sure if he will be fit to play against Pep Guardiola’s men.

The former Chelsea coach attested that he isn’t yet very certain if Pogba is really injured or if it is just some much accumulation of fatigue in his muscles. But anything at all, the Frenchman won’t be available for the Manchester derby on Thursday.

The Special one is already having to adapt to life without his star Swede striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and impressive Argentine defender Marcos Rojo. The Swede and the Argentine have been ruled out for the rest of this season due to their respective injuries.

But it appears Mourinho is not too disturbed about some of the injuries to some extent, as he expressed that they won’t make his side lose quality on the pitch.

Manchester United are getting closer to finding themselves among the top four in the premier league as they keep getting closer to fourth placed Manchester City.
