Jurgen Klopp Ready To Sign Serie A Winger Despite Huge Transfer Fee

Roma have asked Liverpool to pay £42million to land their winger, Mohamed Salah, according to reports.

The Egyptian has been a key figure for the Italian side since he joined them from Chelsea in 2015, and even continued his impressive form last season, netting 19 goals to help Roma finish second behind Juventus.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to be a keen admirer of Salah and hopes to bring him in to add to his firepower next season but there are reports that the German boss is not ready to pay a huge fee to sign the player.

However, reports in the Daily Mirror claim that Klopp has not backed out of his efforts to sign Salah and views him as an ideal option to join his attack

The Reds struggled last January after losing Sadio Mane to Nations Cup duties with Senegal, which saw them fall in their title race in the Premier League.

Roma is believed to be holding out for a £42million transfer fee for the winger and will not allow him to leave below their valuation despite Liverpool’s drive to get the deal done; Salah has also hinted at a potential move to Anfield by taking a picture with two Liverpool fans in Egypt.
