Meaning of the ‘3 fingers salute’ Jose Mourinho did to Chelsea fans revealed

Man Utd coach, Jose Mourinho is known for his controversies and seems to be getting into trouble every week.

Mourinho during Man Utd home match against Newcastle Utd had said some abusive words to football fans at Old Trafford.

However, the Portugal international this time around didn’t make use of abusive words but rather he saluted Chelsea fans with three fingers after the game between the Blues and Man Utd yesterday at Stamford.

But the three fingers salute have been described to be a taunting sign and not a sign of respect for the Blues fans.

According to an analysis, the three fingers meant Jose Mourinho was indirectly telling Chelsea fans he won three English Premier League titles for them.

However, the salutation came after the melee that took place between Jose Mourinho and Chelsea assistant coach, Marco Ianni – when the Man Utd coach left his dugout and ran after Ianni to the tunnel.

In respect to Marco Ianni’s display yesterday, coach Maurizio Sarri has stated that Ianni will get the punishment for his poor sportsmanship display.

Despite Jose Mourinho’s shortcomings, he still remains one of Chelsea’s best ever coach.

Chelsea following their draw against Man Utd are now seated at the third spot on the EPL table.
