Another PL Rivals Set To Hijack £31m-rated Star Player From Chelsea’s Grip

Real Madrid star player Danilo has emerged as a target for both Chelsea and Manchester City this summer and he appears destined to play in the premier league next season.

In a new development, there are reports that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are ready to beat the premier league champions to the signing of the talented player.

Serie A champions Juventus are also understood to be after Danilo, but the English champions are the ones expected to complete a £31 million deal for him.

Italian news outlet Sky Italia are reporting that Man City are in ‘advanced talks’ with the Brazilian international, this could mean that the west London club could be beaten to another target this summer.

At first, it was Romelu Lukaku. The Belgium striker was linked with Chelsea for much of this summer but the premier league champions were beaten by Man United for the player’s signature.

Chelsea have only been able to sign just one defender this summer (Antonio Rudiger from AS Roma) after the exit of the duo of Nathan Ake (to Bournemouth) and legend John Terry (to Championship side Aston Villa).

Danilo is expected to come to Stamford Bridge to be an upgrade to Nigerian star Victor Moses in Antonio Conte’s squad.

Apart from Danilo, Manchester City on the other hand are also linked with Benjamin Mendy and Ryan Bertrand.
