Man United Confirm Arrival Of Brazilian Forward Ahead Of Potential Deal

Manchester United have confirmed that Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Martinelli has began trial with the club ahead of a potential move to the Old Trafford.

The youngster who plays for Brazilian outfit Ituano has previously been invited on trial with the Red Devils and has now been invited for another time with them ahead of the 2017/18 term.

Manchester United have recently invested in their academy this summer, with the arrival of Largie Ramazani, Theo Richardson, Aliou Badara Traore and Millen Baars with the Martinelli tipped to the next kid to join the train.

United confirmed on the arrival of the forward to the club on their official website and even took part of the under-17 side’s 2-0 victory over Lincoln City on Wednesday evening.

The Brazilian came in as a 60th minute substitute for Nishan Burkart at the game played in Sincil Bank which saw Manchester United win, thanks to goals from Baars and Brandon Williams.

Jose Mourinho has continually emphasized the importance of signing youngsters that will take over in the near future, despite been criticised for not being able to achieve such feat during his time with his previous clubs.

Following the arrival of Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku, United are working on deals for a midfielder and winger ahead of another hectic campaign.
