Good News: Man United Allowed To Get Second Signing After Cut-price

Manchester United have received a massive boost in the pursuit of Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches, with reports that the player will be available for cut-price £23million.

The Portuguese youngster broke into the limelight last summer with his heroics for Portugal at the Euro 2016 tournament in France, producing brilliant performances as they won the tournament.

Manchester United were among the clubs that showed interest in the midfielder but he chose to join Bayern Munich. However, Sanches has struggled to get first team opportunities at the Allianz Arena as manager, Carlo Ancelotti benched him for most parts of their campaign which saw them win the Bundesliga title once again.

There have been speculations over the future of the 19-year-old due to his lack of chances with the German giants, with reports that United are prepared to sign him this summer but being pushed back by the initial £35million asking price.

Reports in German outlet, Kicker have it that Bayern Munich are ready to lower their demands for Sanches and will accept bids around £23million for him this summer, thus giving Manchester United a major boost as Jose Mourinho plans to lure his fellow Portuguese to the Old Trafford.

Mourinho had earlier come out to reveal his admiration for the midfielder, confirming United’s interest in signing the player before Bayern Munich swooped last summer.
