Liverpool vs Cardiff City: Klopp rules out this two midfielders

Liverpool, following their recent win in the UCL against Red Star Belgrade, will host Cardiff City at Anfield in the EPL this weekend.

But coach Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Guinea international and the Reds midfielder, Naby Keita will not be available for the match.

Naby Keita, who joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window picked up a hamstring injury while on international duty for his home country, Guinea.

Although Naby Keita returned to Anfield on Wednesday, Jurgen Klopp refused to start him against Red Star Belgrade.

The game against Cardiff City will be the third match the Guinea star will miss in a row.

Apart from Naby Keita, Klopp also confirmed that Liverpool midfielder, Jordan Henderson will not be also available for the match against Cardiff City this weekend.

Jordan Henderson also will be on the sideline with a hamstring injury.

Klopp in a recent statement said, “[Keita and Henderson] will not play tomorrow, for sure.”

He, however, hinted that both players are ”in a good form, but will not be ready for the match.”

Klopp added that ”apart from Ox [Chamberlain] and Rhian [Brewster], the rest of the squad should be available.”

Liverpool will be looking forward to picking all three points against Cardiff City.
