Liverpool Talented Target Dreams Of Manchester United Move

RB Leipzig talented player Timo Werner made it known that he has dreamed of moving to England to play at Old Trafford.

The star striker has evolved into one of the brightest young forwards in the continent and has already scored five times in six games in the Bundesliga so far this term for RB Leipzig.

The 21-year-old was linked with a move to Liverpool during the past summer transfer window following speculations that he was high on their manager’s priority list, but nothing could happen before the closure of the window.

But the Germany international, who won the Golden Boot for his country in the Confederations Cup this summer, said he has wanted to join Manchester United since he was a kid.

Speaking to Sky, the talented player admits that many footballers always dream of big clubs they’d like to play for when they are still very young and that for him, it was ‘Manchester United under Alex Ferguson’.

“A young boy is always a fan of [a club] who wins.” the youngster said.

Even if Werner will love leaving his current German club next summer to a side like Manchester United, it is not yet certain if Leipzig would allow him to eave. This is because, another of their top player – Naby Keita – will also be leaving for Liverpool next year.
