Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has heaped lots of praises on Huddersfield for their win over his own side in the premier league on Saturday.
The Portuguese tactician, however, gave a number of reasons why his side lost the game at Huddersfield, and he even complained of how windy it was during the clash.
Both Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre gave the home side the lead in the first half of the game, and Marcus Rashford’s late goal couldn’t stop them from getting all three points.
And Jose, speaking after the game, showed how impressed he was with Huddersfield’s performances during the game, and the Portuguese also murmured about the windy conditions by the Storm Brain.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the former Chelsea manager hailed the home side as the best side during the meeting and that they deserve To win his side.
‘When the best team wins, there’s nothing to say,’ he admits.
He also suggested that one eminent factor that enabled Huddersfield claimed their first win over the red devils for 65 years was because his side ‘played against a team and an incredible wind.’
“The wind was tremendous.” he told reporters in his post-match press conference.
Up next for him is their Carabao Cup game against Swansea on Tuesday before welcoming Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford next weekend for their next premier league game.
