Liverpool Reveal Plan To Spend Big On Man United Target Next Summer….

Liverpool are ready to cash in on Mamadou Sakho to fund a massive transfer for Southampton defender Virgil Van Djik, according to reports.

The French defender has impressed on loan at Crystal Palace, which has sparked several speculations regarding his future at the Anfield and AS Roma said to be leading the race to sign the defender.

The Reds have been suspect at the back this season despite showing brilliant attacking displays with a barrage of goals under Jurgen Klopp who is said to be worried about how they have conceded goals this season.

A section of Anfield faithfuls have called for the return of Sakho but the strained relationship between Klopp and the defender might stand in the way of a possible transfer.

Van Dijk has been heavily linked with a move away from Southampton due to his solid displays at the back for the Saints since he joined them from Celtic.

There are strong indications that Van Dijk will leave the Saint Mary’s next summer transfer window with suggestions that he wants to play in the Champions League next season.

However, Liverpool will face intense competition from their league rivals, Manchester United who are also believed to be eyeing a summer swoop for the Dutch defender as Jose Mourinho wants to bolster his current squad next summer window.
