Liverpool Handed Major Transfer Blow In £100m Bundesliga Winger Pursuit

Five-time European champions Liverpool have been dealt a major transfer blow in their quest to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

The transfer blow is as a result of the update on the England international star.

The Sun claim that the aforementioned Sancho wants to stay at Borussia Dortmund beyond this summer thereby ending hopes of Premier League clubs interested in his services.

The 18-year-old wants to repay Borussia Dortmund who gave him the opportunity to play at the highest level and the young English winger also believes that he will be better served spending more seasons with the Germans.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp recently admitted that the Reds were interested in Jadon Sancho.

Klopp revealed that Liverpool wanted to sign him but Manchester City failed to sell him to the Reds.

In the end, Jadon Sancho signed for Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer from Manchester City after rejecting a contract renewal at the club.

The decision to snub Manchester City for German has been a good one as he has emerged as a key player for table-topping Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

He has scored nine goals for Borussia Dortmund in all competitions this term.
