German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig have identified Chelsea player Tammy Abraham as the man to replace wantaway striker Timo Werner.
RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner might not be at the club next season following the intense transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the club.
The £50m-rated German international player has been in superb form for RB Leipzig netting 14 goals in 25 games in all competitions for the Europa League campaigners this term.
The 23-year-old has scored 11 goals and also provided two assists in 21 games for RB Leipzig in the German Bundesliga this season.
His form has been attracting the interest of several major European clubs including Merseyside giants Liverpool who are keen to strengthen their attack ahead of next season.
Apart from Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid are also said to be keen on signing the petite attacker.
Liverpool have struggled in their attack in the past few weeks despite the fact that they have the famed front trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Senegalese international Mane has scored regularly in the past few games with six goals scored in eight matches but the duo of Salah and Firmino have struggled to find the back of the net.
Both players have just three goals between them for the Reds’ last eight games in all competitions.
