Some Liverpool fans celebrate Mo Salah’s injury, want Klopp to ‘replace him’

Liverpool forward and Egypt international, Mohammed Salah was on international duty last night featuring for Egypt in the AFCON qualifiers against Swaziland which ended with 4 goals to 1 in favour of Egypt.

Mo Salah, 26, scored a stunning goal from the corner for Egypt last night before he went ahead to pick up a leg injury at the 88th minute to the end of the game.

This has left Liverpool worried, with another report disclosing that Salah has made a return to Anfield for treatment.

However, some Liverpool fans are not worried about the injured player but have rather taken to the social media to celebrate his injury.

Some of the Reds fans have called on Klopp to dropped Mo Salah from the first eleven since he has refused to perform this season.

The fans urged Klopp to replace the 26-year-old with former Stoke City player, Xherdan Shaqiri, who joined them in the summer transfer window.

One Liverpool fan wrote this on social media ‘Kinda looking forward to Shaqiri replacing Salah for a few weeks going forward……’

The Red fans believe Mo Salah’s injury is a blessing in disguise.

Mo Salah’s form in this current campaign has not been all that spectacular with the player losing most chances to score goals for Liverpool.
