Inter Eyeing €50m Summer Swoop For Chelsea Target

Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly eyeing a summer move for highly rated Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa.

According to the publication from Italian media outlet Calciomercato, Inter Milan want to do a deal for the Italian international in the summer.

Federico Chiesa is the son of former Italian national team player Enrico Chiesa and he’s the talisman for Serie A club Fiorentina.

He has been in very good form this season especially since the turn of the year.

The 21-year-old has scored 10 goals this season including a treble in the 7-1 demolition of Italian capital club AS Roma in their Coppa Italian quarterfinal clash last month.

His performances for Fiorentina have not gone unnoticed with the big boys on the European football scene including West Londoners Chelsea.

Federico Chiesa was heavily linked with Chelsea with Blues boss Maurizio Sarri said to be a big fan of the player.

But it appears that their interest in him has cooled off after Chelsea signed Christian Pulisic from German Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund in January.

Pulisic won’t join his new teammates at Chelsea until the summer.

The FIFA transfer ban on Chelsea might give other interested teams like Juventus and Manchester United an advantage in the race to sign Chiesa.
