Crystal Palace striker Michy Batshuayi believes that he could be the answer to the striking problems at the club following his move from Premier League giants Chelsea last month.
The Belgian international attacker joined the Eagles on loan from Chelsea for the rest of this campaign on deadline day of the winter transfer window.
Speaking after his cameo appearance in his first game for South London club Crystal Palace, the 25-year-old is certain that he would be the man to get goals for the Eagles on a consistent basis.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Marseille striker further added that he would need to return to full fitness as soon as possible following his recent struggles at Spanish La Liga giants Valencia.
Michy Batshuayi joined Chelsea from French Ligue 1 giants Marseille in a £35m deal but he has not been able to secure a permanent spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge.
He spent the second half of last season at German Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund on loan from Chelsea and he scored nine goals in 14 appearances.
Batshuayi didn’t enjoy the same measure of success at Valencia earlier this season having joined them on a season-long loan deal last summer.
His loan spell at Valencia was terminated at the halfway stage last month.
