How I was forced out of Arsenal, Patrick Vieira

Despite being a favourite in the club and a legend, France international midfielder Patrick Vieira still left Arsenal untimely and against his wish because he was “forced out”.

Patrick Vieira stated that he was left with no choice than to quit the Emirates Stadium with the emergence of Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas who came on the scene with his big quality and prospect.

There is no doubt that Cesc Fabregas was preferred ahead of Patrick Vieira by former manager Arsene Wenger and there was no need staying at the club to sit on the bench for him.

Jokingly, when speaking with Nice President, Patrick Vieira looked at Cesc Fabregas in the locker room when Monaco were to file out against Nice and said the Spanish man is the player who drove him out of the club.

However, Cesc Fabregas had a successful spell at the Emirates Stadium with great performances but he was unable to win any title until he left to join Barcelona and won some titles.

Cesc Fabregas later left the La Liga outfit to join West London outfit Chelsea before his recent move to French Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.

However, Cesc Fabregas has made it clear that he will always have the Arsenal in his heart as his favourite club.
