Too good, too bad: See how Liverpool’s loanees perform at the Weekend

Liverpool loanees were in action with their respective clubs and we have decided to rate some of the youngsters who could return to the Reds’ first-team squad next season.

Taiwo Awoniyi

The powerful youngster endured a nightmarish spell at KAA Gent during the first period of the season and his loan deal was terminated by the Pro League giants.

The Nigerian returned back to Royal Excel Mouscron for the rest of the season and made his second debut for the team on Sunday.

He was introduced into the game in the 64th minute and it took him just four minutes to score his first goal of the season for the club.

His goal helped Mouscron to a 2-1 win over Oostende and he will hope to have another impressive spell with the Belgian side once again just as he did throughout last season.

Harry Wilson

The young striker registered a goal and one assist to help Derby County overcome Reading in one of the Championship fixtures.

The Liverpool is having a great season with Derby as he now has 12 goals and four assists to his name.

Ovie Ejaria

The Rangers’ rejected player is picking up his pieces at Reading after an unsuccessful spell with the Scottish side.

The England youth striker was lively for the relegation-threatened side, he assisted the only goal that was scored by his team who narrowly lost to Derby on Saturday.

There are many other youngsters who had a great weekend with their respective clubs and we promise to bring more of them to you in subsequent posts
