Germany FA comes after Ozil again

Arsenal playmaker, Mesut Ozil for what they described as disrespect to the country after the player was reported to have snubbed the national team coach Joachim Low.

Recall that the German national team coach had alleged that he was snubbed by the former Real Madrid player when he made an attempt to pay him a visit in London.

Following the world best player award ceremony which was held in the English capital, Low disclosed that he had visited the Arsenal training ground but was snubbed by the player.

He went ahead to accuse the Gunners manager Unai Emery for not allowing him to see the player but admitted he met with Per Mertesacker, Shkodran Mustafi.

In his reaction the German FA President Reinhard Grindel blasted Ozil, stating that the player was wrong not to have held talks with the national team manager.

He added that there was a need for talks after the accusation made by the player after the World Cup in Russia.

Ozil had accused the German FA of racism after announcing his shock retirement from the national team. He also stated that he was used as a scapegoat for the team’s woeful performance at the world tournament.
