Fabinho Confirms ‘No Interest’ In PSG Transfer

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has revealed that he was not interested in a move to French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) despite the fact that he was strongly linked to them some weeks back.

Reports in the French media had revealed that PSG were ready to take the Brazilian on loan for the second half of the season.

In a recent interview with French media publication L’Equipe, Brazilian international Fabinho disclosed that he had no interest in leaving Liverpool for PSG.

The 25-year-old was heavily linked with a loan transfer back to France after he failed to break into the Liverpool team in his first few weeks as a Reds player.

Liverpool signed Fabinho from French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco in a deal worth at least £40m at the start of the season only for him to struggle to get into the Reds XI in the opening weeks of this campaign.

He didn’t start the first eight games in the Premier League for league leaders Liverpool.

Injuries in the Liverpool midfield paved way for him and he has been a mainstay of the Reds XI since then.

Fabinho has already shown his versatility for the Reds after playing as a center back in the 1-0 away win over Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend.
