Everton join race for Aaron Ramsey

Everton have added to the list of those seeking for the signature of Arsenal contract rebel Aaron Ramsey.

It is unlikely Ramsey will remain at the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season owing to the expiration of his contract with the North London club.

Efforts to have him tied down with a new deal failed as both parties failed to agree on personal terms making it likely for the Wales international to leave at the summer after he made it clear that he will not be moving in the winter Transfer window.

With Liverpool, AC Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United all seeking for his signature, latest reports indicate that Everton have joined the list.

The director of football at the Goodison Park, Marcel Brands is reported to be preparing a bid for the Gunners star and could lure him with a fee within the region of £15 million in a five-year deal.

It is not clear if the Wales midfielder will be willing to listen to offers from the Goodison Park as he will be interested in playing in the Champions League again.

Liverpool and AC Milan have got the advantage for the player owing to their current status and financially might which might be a factor to be considered by the Arsenal player.
