Everton And PSG In €50m Fight To Sign Chelsea Target

Two European sides are reportedly ready to do battle for the signature of highly rated Ajax Amsterdam forward David Neres.

This is according to the latest reports emanating from the Brazilian media.

David Neres rose to European football prominence after a stellar campaign with Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam.

The 22-year-old Brazilian international player ended the season with two trophies in the colours of Ajax Amsterdam who also reached the last four of Europe’s premier club competition.

Ajax Amsterdam reached the Champions League semifinals before they were eliminated by Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Brazilian news outlet Esporte, Everton and French champions PSG are keen to sign David Neres this summer.

It was revealed that it would take €50m to sign the Brazilian attacker who has also been linked with Chelsea but the current transfer ban hanging over his head won’t make a transfer possible until the Blues have been able to sort it out.

Chelsea are waiting to find out the result of their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) against a two-window transfer ban slammed on them by world football’s governing body FIFA.

David Neres scored 12 goals and also provided eight assists for Ajax Amsterdam in all competitions during the recently concluded campaign.
