£220,000-per-week Star Will Play For Chelsea Until Next Year, Chelsea Fans Will Love This

Many Chelsea fans all over the world are quite nervous about the prospect of one of their star players Eden Hazard leaving the club this summer.

The Belgium international has been so vital throughout the campaign and has, as expected, drawn the attention of a few European clubs.

Cadena COPE recently reported that Eden Hazard is on the radar of Real Madrid. So, this has made many Chelsea fans concerned that their star player could leave their club at the end of the season.

Significantly, the Belgian star has also revealed his admiration for Real Madrid current boss Zinedine Zidane in the past. And with the Stamford Bridge club likely to end this season on a high – the pieces seemingly were coming into place for the player to leave this summer and ride into the sunset.

And Interestingly, Hazard himself has also once mentioned that he would only leave the west London club after winning the Premier League – if he ever did depart. And since the Blues are looking suspiciously close to achieving that goal this season – as they are currently ten points clear at the top of the league table over second placed Tottenham Hotspur and are regarded firm favourites to lift the trophy – then Chelsea fans might get more worried.

Nevertheless, the Evening Standard is giving Chelsea fans something to ease the tension. They are claiming that Eden Hazard is keen to stay at the Stamford Bridge club this summer and  has no plans to force through a departure from Chelsea.

Eden Hazard reportedly earns £220,000 per week at Chelsea. He signed a new contract in 2015 – but there has however been a constant fear since that point that he could look to leave Chelsea. It however seems as though that won’t be happening for another year at least. Chelsea fans will sure love this.
