Despite winning, Alan Shearer says there is something worrisome about Liverpool

Liverpool had their fifth game against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday at Wembley Stadium.

Although the Reds managed to maintain their 100 per cent win against Tottenham, it was a tough game.

Liverpool had a lot of opportunities to score but they wasted most of it as the game finally came to an end with a scoreline of 2 – 1 in favour of Liverpool.

However, Alan Shearer in a recent statement disclosed that the Reds deserve the win.

But he stressed that they could have done better scoring more goals between 6 to 7.

Alan added that Liverpool was not at their best as they should have had a field day because their pressing was excellent and they push Tottenham Hotspur into making mistakes.

From the highlight of the game, Alan Shearer may actually be right as Liverpool duo of Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah wasted what would have been many goal chances yesterday.

It seems Klopp will have to take a second look at the two and bring in another player one of them can blend in win.

On the other hand, Roberto Firmino was splendid for the Reds as he made sure he managed the ball as he received them.
