Conte Hints At Replacement For Want-away Playmaker

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has hinted that Chelsea are ready to bring in a replacement for want-away Brazilian playmaker, Oscar.

Following reports that Oscar could set to leave the Stamford Bridge to seal a transfer to Chinese Super League to join former Blues boss, Andre Villas-boas at Shanghai SIPG in a deal worth £52million.

The Blues are reportedly preparing deals to replace the playmaker and Conte has now revealed he might have found a perfect replacement in the attacking midfield for the Blues.

Asked if he’d discussed replacing Oscar with the Chelsea board, he said: ‘Yes, I always talk with the club, with the board.

‘I explain my thoughts with every situation. It’s normal with a club, you try to make the best decision.

‘There are situations that are amazing. It’s very difficult to try to solve the situation in the best way.’

Chelsea have been linked with a host of stars in recent weeks, with reports that the Blues are interested in likes of Marco Veratti and Diego Laxalt being the main names on the list, though they face stiff competition from major clubs in Europe.

Although, latest reports from China have it that the Chairman of the Chinese club is not certain about the marketing value of Oscar which is the main reason for the proposed transfer.
