Conte Admits Blues Star Is Giving Him Selection Headache

Conte has confessed Cesc Fabregas could force his way back into his plans at the Stamford Bridge.

The Spaniard was part of the Blues squad that defeated Manchester city last Saturday and appears to have won over Conte’s heart after the manager admitted  he has been given a big selection headache ahead of their match against West Bromvich Albion this weekend.

When asked the performance of the former Arsenal skipper, he said: ‘I have to have this kind of decision for every game,

‘I think he was good. he took his opportunity and I have a choice of four midfielders: Matic, (N’Golo) Kante, (Nathaniel) Chalobah or Fabregas.’

Fabregas replaced injured Nemanja Matic in their last match and looks certain to retain his place due to his fine performance especially in the second half of the crucial tie against Manchester city. Prior to the game, he had struggled to get into the starting line-up as he was reportedly deemed to slow by the Italian.

Chelsea are currently three points clear at the top of the Premier League with hopes of extending their lead againt Tony Pulis’ men who won also go into the game at the back of a 3-1 win Watford at the Hawthorns last weekend.
