With over 30 young stars out on loan from Stamford Bridge this season for first team football and experience, Chelsea needed to send out some players on a permanent move to find clubs who will help them fulfill their dreams.
According to the latest report, Arsenal has secured the services of former Chelsea player Zach Medley. This was made known by Arsenal official website which claimed that the Gunners have signed the highly rated defender on a scholarship deal.
The 16-years old star left Stamford Bridge in October after failing to impress the Blues coaching team. He was handed a trial at the Emirate Stadium, where he impressed enough to be handed scholarship deal.
Medley had been with the Blues youth team since the age of eight, but will now continue his development with the Gunners under-18 team.
We at 234sport.com wish him the best in his new club and hope to see him at the top in the nearest future.
However, this may not go down well with some Blues fans who will not be happy to see the star in arch rival Jersey.
