Confirmed! Chelsea to sell Marcos Alonso this month on one condition

Chelsea ready to sell off Marcos Alonso to Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid on one condition

With the Spanish transfer window set to close August 31st, Spanish clubs are putting a last minute finishing to their squad.

Two of Spain football clubs, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are in a race to sign Chelsea 27-year-old defender, Marcos Alonso.

An earlier report made it known that the Blues had rejected the offer immediately as there was no way they will be able to sign a replacement untill the January transfer window.

Why Man United Did Not Sign Any Defender This Summer

However, latest report reveals the Blues are set to finally listen to any of Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid.

The Blues in a statement disclosed they are ready to sell off Marcos Alonso to any of the Madrid clubs. But the offer comes with a condition which is the transfer fee.

The Blues have reportedly fixed the transfer price of their 27-year-old player at £60 million.

This is a huge amount for a defender but it looks as if the Blues want to cash in on the desperation of the two Spanish clubs.

It is yet to be known if both clubs will carry on with this new development.
