Coach Gennaro Gattuso blasts Chelsea star, says he must improve

Chelsea loaned out midfielder, Tiemoue Bakayoko is having a difficult time in the Italian Seria A.

AC Milan coach, Gennaro Gattuso in a recent statement has blasted the Blues midfielder who took his underwhelming performance with him to Italy.

Gattuso in a statement disclosed the 24-year-old midfielder has to improve in terms of finding the ball.

The AC Milan coach said the midfielder ‘has to learn how to get the ball.’

He went on to disclose that Bakayoko lacks the confidence to play, Gattuso hinted that he would prefer a much experience and older player in place of Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The coach disclosed it is hard work to improve a player’s performance, he said he ‘would have preferred to be managing older, more experienced club players.’

Bakayoko so far has made six appearances (four in the Italian Seria A and two in the Uefa Europa League) for AC Milan.

However, the reports from Italy have disclosed that AC Milan could cut short his stay at San Siro and send him back to Chelsea if he refuses to improve.

Tiemoue Bakayoko left Chelsea on loan in the summer transfer window following the arrival of the new coach, Maurizio Sarri, who brought in Jorginho and Matteo Kovacic to takeover Bakayoko’s spot in the Blues midfield.
